Big Game Hunting in the Gros Ventre Wilderness 

Horse Creek Outfitters offers big game hunting in a wilderness setting. The game is plentiful, which includes Elk, Moose, Mule Deer, Sheep, Antelope and Bear.

We hunt in the wilderness portion of Area #84, also known as Lower Hoback, which includes Horse Creek Drainage. There is no other licensed wilderness camp in the area, but the major difference between the Horse Creek Ranch and other outfitters is the area in which it is located. The largest resident elk herd and the finest trophy deer in the state of Wyoming are to be found here. The Lower Hoback area also offers excellent stream fishing.
